Desnarechye Residential District is a residential project designed by KPLN Architects for the developer A101. It is located in Troitsk, a district of New Moscow, Russia. The architectural concept was included in the almanac "100 Best Projects of Russia 2024–2026" The design by KPLN Architects is based on the natural landscape of the site. The land sits on the bank of the Neznayka River, and its terrain looks like a cliff above the water. This feature shaped the composition of the whole complex. The cliff inspired the project's vertical landmark: a lighthouse-like tower. It works as a point of orientation, defines the district's skyline and highlights its connection to nature. Sloped planes that recall pitched roofs complete the architectural language.
